Xenon's Seventh Circle

There was a terrific sky earlier. I tried being all photographical, but somebody put a telegraph pole in the way.

Rose #3 has flowered, so once again, have a picture. You can be forgiven for not recognising him, I guess, but world - meet Freddie Mercury. :)

Last winter I bought three baby rose bushes, and the first one has flowered. I would claim gardening brilliance, but the success is probably mostly due to my having planted it and then left it alone. Here, have a rose:



It's a lot more red in the flesh (petal?) than it looks here; the light was being a bit unco-operative. It's called Rock 'n' Roll, which is largely why I bought it, but it's really funky. Smells amazing, too. The other two roses haven't flowered yet, although one shouldn't take too long now. I shall attempt to update you accordingly. You lucky people. :)
