Days Of Our Lives gets increasingly confusing.
I do wish people would stop changing heads. I have lately just been reading the recaps rather than actually watching the episodes, so I suppose it's partly my fault (well, no, because John was in a frakking coma, so of course I haven't been watching it), but the ever-changing array of heads really doesn't help to make the storylines any easier to follow. The latest head change is Philip Kiriakis, who, even more confusingly, has now changed back to his original head - or the one I first knew him with, at any rate. It's weird seeing that head back, when Shawn and Belle are different. Current Belle is awful - and not entertainingly awful, either. She kind of suited the last Philip, but the new/old one shows her up. Can't make up my mind about current Shawn. The eternal "Shawn and Belle, will they won't they" schtick isn't exactly helped by the changing heads, either. Makes it very hard to care. And what's with Will?! Has he changed again?! The poor children of DOOL, getting a decade older every two or three years. It's no wonder they're all so batty. I've got yesterday's episode running as I write this, though, and John just got blown up, so some things never change. It's pitch black, and almost impossible to see, as he, Bo and Hope are in a tunnel - again, some things never change :) - but he's clearly artfully daubed with dirt, and is being fabulously stoic. He's going up that rope any minute, betcha. For John is forever immune to concussion, and things that go boom. Hurrah!
