Did somebody steal the sun?! It wasn't this dark at this time on the shortest day, for goodness sakes. My cat refused point blank to get up this morning (which is a bit of an issue, since she sleeps on top of me). "It's dark! Not moving! Hard luck!"

Whoever it was, please give it back. I rather like dark mornings if I'm honest, but this is ridiculous...

We have had a few of those mornings and some very overcast whole days where it looks like the sun is not yet up properly!

Yes. I realise it keeps it that bit warmer when it's overcast, but it also looks really miserable!
