It's a hard one to watch now, as although it crops up every now and again on the digital channels, it's always edited; and one of its greatest strengths were the fun scenes between the characters, which of course are the first bits to get snipped out. It's a show that has great chemistry between its stars, and that's part of the reason why it works as well as it does, so when Mr Snips takes out his editing scissors, many episodes lose their heart. Such a shame.
Some of it was released on DVD, but I don't think it sold too well. Too many of these shows just aren't well enough known, I don't think. "Ironside" ran for years (1965-1974, I think), which is a lot of DVDs, so hamstrung from the start, sadly.
Even a short 1 season series doesn't always make it onto DVD! I'm still waiting for Garrison's Gorillas, The Devlin Connection, and Veritas: The Quest. *grumbles*
