Hurry, we must Tumble it!

So, Sleepy Hollow ended, certainly for the season, possibly forever. And I can't talk about it, because I have no idea where the rest of you are up to. Suffice to say that, after a sometimes patchy second season - more episodes are not always a good thing, telly people - I could scarcely have been happier with how it ended. If we do get a third season, it may very well be the best yet.

So, in the meantime, have a completely spoiler free video (one minute long). I can find no way to embed this on LJ or DreamWidth, as the supplied embed code apparently only works with forums, and probably Tumblr. Everything works on Tumblr. Why can people not see that LJ and DreamWidth are better? Why does fandom persist in clinging to the wretched abomination that is Tumblr? Why is there cat hair in my tea? Well, at least the answer to the last question is obvious.

No, they don't like tea. They just love hiding bits of fur in every soup, drink and sandwich within reach. I think it's a hobby.

I have two cats. A ginger tabby and an ordinary tabby. The latter is almost permanently glued to me, so her fur really is in everything. I keep telling her that it's not terribly vegetarian, but she doesn't seem to care.

I know there's some really good stuff on Tumblr. I keep thinking I should have a proper go at it, but we just don't get on!

I go there for the pretties, and then get sucked into reading meta and theory but there's no way of having an actual conversation that doesn't involve reblogging the original post which gets larger and larger. And if you want to start a conversation, then it seems like you need to already have a zillion followers otherwise it won't get reblogged enough to attract an answer.

Quite. And how do people get followers there anyway? Why would anybody follow anybody else, when all anybody does is repost other people's stuff?!
