Somebody gave me a new album a few days ago, by a band I'd never heard of before, called The Struts. Nothing wildly new or original, but lots of bouncy fun, with a rather nicely OTT lead singer. It appeals to me, so here's a few songs that I've especially enjoyed so far:
It Could Have Been Me, which jumps off the album as the stand-out track, I think. Brash and a bit camp, and instantly singalongable:
Matter Of Time, a non-album track, from an EP that's apparently been scudding about for some while (I'm not terribly good at staying current with music these days!):
Put Your Money On Me, another bit of catchy, bouncy pop-rock, with a fun video.
The album was released last year, and is called Everybody Wants. Enjoying it a lot so far. It's nice to have some new music again, even if it is a year old for everybody else!
