Why can't people have shiny, blue-green heads?

Ducklings are little sods to take pictures of. They speed about on their rivers, like they're jet-propelled, resulting in an endless succession of out-of-focus, a-miss-is-as-good-as-a-mile pictures.

Out of focus, and half-way out of frame. This picture nicely sums up my duckling picture-taking venture.

This one actually is in focus, but part of it is missing.

Family portrait! Although the only way to get them all in the picture, since the uncooperative little sods were shooting off in different directions all the time, was to take a long distance shot. So although they're in focus, you can't actually see them.

Duckling!

The parents are much better behaved. I like ducks at the moment. They have shiny heads.

This post was brought to you by the duck agenda.

They are lovely photos, but you could do with a faster shutter speed. (You could use sports setting or some such. I cannot remember if you have an SLR or not)

Do you have settings like Outside Sports Food etc ???

The ISO used to be the type of film and you had to set the camera to suit the film so I am confused about what ISO is used for now! Seems to be light sensitivity nowadays, but i don't know how to change the ISO setting on my camera.

It would be too easy!, why are all cameras different??!! For movement or action you definitely need a fast shutter speed or it will blur. As I remember ISO was for light/dark situations, I didn't even know digital cameras had ISO.........so.....................I learned something!!
