30 Days Of Adam Adamant #5
09. Favourite photo/screenshot
I think I better take this behind a cut.
I could take screenshots all day, of Adam posing, or of Georgina in her flashy sixties duds, but instead I'm going with the show's publicity photos. There was a lovely photo shoot prior to the series beginning, involving the two leads and Adam's little mini, and I love all of the pictures that they took. Gerald Harper and Juliet Harmer are clearly enjoying themselves, and the pictures are perfect.

Then there's these - one from 1966, and the other from 2006:

You've got to love Gerald Harper. Also there's this very nice shot of the two of them together again, also taken in 2006:

Although, to go back to screenshots for a moment, I could also be persuaded to go with this one, from "To Set A Deadly Fashion", in which poor, sensitive Adam has to endure a modern fashion show.

OMG! Legs!!!1! There's a lovely bit of dialogue here. Adam decides that he must leave immediately, but he's told that he has to stay to avoid insulting his host. Very reluctantly, and clearly very unhappy, he agrees: "...but I shall find it extremely worrying."
He's hilarious around women. Goodness only knows why, given the world that he comes from, but I let it go because it's funny.
So yeah. That was quite a lot of pictures really, wasn't it.

Lovely pictures. Thanks for sharing them.

And yes, it's a good concept for a hero. That fish-out-of-water aspect is one of the things that I've enjoyed so much about the new series "Sleepy Hollow".
